Five of the Most Expensive Handbags in the World
Posted on February 12 2016
We all have a little taste for luxury when it comes to style and fashion. But how far will you go to get that IT bag or, better yet, how much will you spend? We at Pink Clove have compiled a list of 5 of the most expensive handbags in the world. Take your pick!
- Louis Vuitton Tribute Patchwork Bag- £29,550
This bag is mostly famous for its unique look and the fact that only about 25 of them were released, with one purchased by Beyoncé.
- Hermes Matte Crocodile Birkin Bag- £84,420
We’ve all heard of Birkin and we’ve probably associated them with something that is out of our reach. Well, this Crocodile version is one of the most expensive versions designed by Hermes.
- Urban Satchel Louis Vuitton Bag- £105,526
Again, another interesting handbag from Louis Vuitton. This bag is made of complete rubbish, literally. It contains old cigarette packs, a water bottle, receipts and more rubbish. And this bag is even more expensive than their brand new handbags. Who knew recycling could be so expensive?
- The Chanel “Diamond Forever” Classic Handbag- £183,615
Diamonds. This bag is made with diamonds. The Chanel bags is encrusted with 334 diamonds, totalling 3.65 carats. The straps are made of white gold and only 13 were made. Get it while it’s hot!
- Mouawad’s 1001 Nights Diamond Purse- £ 2,674,079
Can you imagine? A night out on the town with a bag made of DIAMONDS. It’s made of 18kt gold, encrusted with 4,517 diamonds, including 56 pink diamonds, 104 yellow diamonds and 4, 356 colourless diamonds with the total weight of 381.92 carats. I wonder if it’s heavy. Who cares? I’ll have my butler carry it for me.
Sometimes we might make the mistake of envying the rich and famous. But don’t forget, if all it takes is a bag made of rubbish to be rich and famous, grab your bin and get started.
